Commoner

Commoner is a creative partner for creative agencies. Their honest, human-centred and highly crafted approach to film required a brand and website to match.

With a wealth of material to draw upon, Seesaw’s approach was to collate the experience, to showcase the studio’s consistently high-calibre films and collaborative service.

The digital user experience was designed to access the work as quickly as possible. With a considered simplicity to the navigation, the homepage is effectively both a showreel and a way to easily scroll between hero projects.

For the brand itself, the name was shortened from Commoner Films to simply Commoner. A new logotype was developed alongside supporting colours of black, white and grey were introduced. Again, these creative decisions were made to maintain the focus on the impressive folio of work.

Finally, a graphic + device was introduced to Commoner’s brand identity and UI to emphasise their unique approach to creative partnerships.
