The Vellum is a fictitious boutique hotel created by Seesaw for Spicers to promote the Fedrigoni Specialties paper range.
Tasked with designing and producing a promotional package that would house a collection of printed materials, Seesaw created a rich brand world to showcase six unique paper stocks. Each piece, from menus to in-room stationery, demonstrates the tactile beauty and versatility of Fedrigoni papers. The Vellum blends storytelling, sensory detail and production craft into a luxurious and memorable brand experience.

The idea of The Vellum draws from historic craftsmanship and boutique hospitality to tell a story of material beauty. It gave Seesaw a fictional yet tangible platform to show how paper can support rich storytelling and elevated brand expression in real-world applications.
Design Execution
Expressive typography, and rich tones create a refined and cohesive visual system. High quality finishes including foils and blind embossing were applied with care, enhancing tactility without overwhelming the stock. Every piece was intentionally designed to feel like part of a lived-in and luxurious hotel brand.
