CHES
The Centre for Higher Education Studies (CHES) is a centre of excellence designed to enhance educational outcomes for high-achieving and high-ability government school students across Victoria.
Seesaw worked alongside Principal Stewart Milner and the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) to strategically position and craft a brand that aligned with their mission to excite and develop the full intellectual, social, and emotional potential of senior students within a purpose-built, $27.5M state-of-the-art facility in South Yarra.
From digital elements to environmental graphics, the brand captured the school’s ethos by reflecting a more university-style approach to learning than a traditional school.

CHES is a direct response to the Victorian government’s commitment to excellence and equity, including extension, acceleration and enrichment for high-ability students. Seesaw worked alongside Principal Stewart Milner and the Victorian School Board Authority (VSBA) to strategically position and craft a brand that aligned with their mission to excite and develop the full intellectual, social and emotional potential of high-achieving senior students within this purpose-built facility. The result was an intelligent brand that expanded across spatial, digital, promotional and printed touch-points.
“High ability students are the next generation of leaders, problem solvers and innovators. Society as a whole will benefit from these students being given every opportunity to reach their full potential” — Victorian Parliamentary Inquiry into Gifted and Talented Education.
